Please note there are multiple Marriott Resorts on Kauai. If you are staying at the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club, the luau is closer to your resort than any pickup location offered.

Experience an evening of Hawaiian culture, island cuisine and theatrical entertainment at Luau Kalamaku, held at the historic Kilohana Plantation just outside Lihue. Known for its large cast and dramatic production, this Kauai luau offers a memorable combination of cultural activities, a traditional feast and a story-driven Polynesian show.

Before dinner, you can enjoy island arts and crafts demonstrations and watch the traditional imu ceremony as the kalua pig is uncovered from the underground oven. An optional plantation train ride is also available, offering you another way to explore the scenic Kilohana grounds before the luau begins.

Dinner features a generous luau buffet with a variety of Hawaiian and island-inspired dishes. After the meal, the stage comes alive with music, dance, drums and vibrant costumes in a production inspired by the ancient Polynesian voyagers who crossed the Pacific and eventually reached the Hawaiian Islands.

Hawaiian Luau Package: Includes standard seating.

Silver Luau Package: Includes elevated seating with better views of the show.

Gold Luau Package: Includes premium seating closest to the stage.

Train Ride: This optional upgrade takes you through the 105-acre Kilohana Plantation before the luau feast. The ride passes plantation homes, forested areas and fields with pineapple, taro and sugarcane. You also stop to feed animals and see pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, horses, Clydesdales and donkeys. After the train ride, you can enjoy the imu ceremony, arts and crafts, and time around the historic mansion shops.

If you are on the south or west side of Kauai, head EAST. Kilohana Plantation is located directly after the Kauai Community College on the left-hand side of the road. Look for the white picket fence. The luau is located next to the Kauai Plantation Railway station at the far left end of the parking lot.

Transportation add-on: Transportation is roundtrip and per person. Depending on the location, pick-up is between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm. Exact times will be emailed to you. If you are not staying at one of the locations listed below, pick-up will be at the closest location to where you are staying.
