Hawaii Loa Luau takes place on the oceanfront grounds of Fairmont Orchid along the Kohala Coast. The setting places you beside Kalahuipua'a, a historic area once associated with Hawaiian royalty, with resort lawns, ocean air and a Big Island evening under the stars.

The show draws inspiration from Hawai'iloa and the voyaging traditions of ancient Polynesian navigators. Through live music, hula, drumming and Polynesian dance, the evening follows stories of movement across the Pacific and connection to Hawaii.

Before the show, you can meet performers and spend time with traditional Hawaiian games and cultural practices. Dinner features an island-style buffet prepared by the Fairmont Orchid culinary team, along with a hosted bar serving standard cocktails and tropical drinks. The night ends with a fire-knife finale.

Fairmont Orchid gives this luau a polished oceanfront resort setting on the Big Island’s Kohala Coast. The location is especially close for you if you are staying in Waikoloa, Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea or nearby resort areas.

Check-in is at 5:30 pm at the Plantation Estate area of the Fairmont Orchid. The luau lasts about 3 hours. Self-parking is complimentary after validation, and valet parking is available for an additional charge.

Hawaii Loa Luau offers Regular Luau pricing, with separate Festive Season and Christmas Day pricing on select holiday dates. Choose your date first so the booking calendar shows the correct package and price for that evening.

Children age 5 and under are provided their own seat and plate. Regular luau child pricing applies for ages 6 to 12, while select holiday pricing may use ages 4 to 12.

Hawaii Loa Luau is held at Fairmont Orchid, 1 North Kaniku Drive, Waimea, HI 96743. The reservations desk is located at the Plantation Estate at the resort, and vouchers must be exchanged for luau tickets at the desk.

Both valet parking and self-parking are available at Fairmont Orchid. Self-parking is complimentary after validation. Valet parking is available for an additional charge.

The luau is open Saturdays, with seasonal Wednesday dates during the summer months. Holiday pricing applies on select dates, including Thanksgiving and Christmas-season dates shown during booking.
