Mauna Lani Luau - Hale Hoaloha

Experience an evening of Hawaiian culture, island cuisine and live entertainment at Luau Hale Hoaloha, set along the historic shoreline of Kalahuipua'a at Mauna Lani. This location has deep cultural significance and was once home to royal fishponds and gathering places where stories were shared by the sea.

The evening begins with a warm Hawaiian welcome, a complimentary cocktail, traditional lawn games and live island music. You can also watch the imu ceremony as the kalua pork, slow-roasted underground since morning, is uncovered and prepared for the evening feast.

Dinner features a generous buffet of island-inspired favorites, including fresh ahi poke, teriyaki chicken, coffee-rubbed roast striploin, kid-friendly selections and a variety of desserts highlighting flavors from around the Big Island.

As you dine, hula and mele bring the stories and legends of Kalahuipua'a to life. The entertainment builds into a vibrant production celebrating Hawaiian culture, the surrounding mountains and the traditions of the islands, before ending with an exciting fire-knife finale.
