Enjoy an oceanfront evening of Hawaiian culture, island cuisine and Polynesian entertainment at the Royal Kona Luau, also known as Voyagers of the Pacific. Set at the Royal Kona Resort overlooking scenic Kailua Bay, this popular Kona luau combines traditional activities, a generous buffet dinner and a lively show inspired by the great Polynesian voyagers who crossed the Pacific.
The evening begins with a warm shell lei greeting, followed by Hawaiian arts and crafts demonstrations and the opportunity to join a group hula lesson. It is a fun and relaxed way to experience a few of Hawaii's cultural traditions before dinner.
Later, enjoy a Hawaiian-style buffet featuring favorites such as kalua pork, island chicken, soy-braised beef and a variety of island-inspired side dishes. After dinner, the stage comes alive with music, dance and storytelling as the show follows the remarkable journey of ancient Polynesian voyagers who traveled thousands of miles across the Pacific and eventually made their home in Hawaii. The evening concludes with an exciting Samoan Siva Afi fire dance finale.
