As the sun sets on the horizon, coloring Ka'anapali Beach and the West Maui mountains in a rainbow of colors, the sound of the conch shell and drums signal the start of the Myths of Maui Luau. Get ready for an evening of delicious oceanfront dining and Hawaiian entertainment at Maui's longest running Polynesian luau at the Royal Lahaina Resort.

After a warm shell lei greeting, witness the traditional imu ceremony in which the kalua pua'a (roast pig) is unearthed from its in-ground oven. Enjoy a delicious all-you-care-to-eat buffet featuring traditional island fare and choose your beverages (such as Mai Tai, Blue Hawaii, cocktails, beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverages) from the full open bar. For vegetarian guests, a tofu veggie stir fry is available as well with advance notice. The Royal Lahaina Luau also has the island's only kid-friendly menu, so no one will leave hungry!

After the big feast, sit back and enjoy an exciting stage production featuring Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan and Maori music and dances, as well as an awe-inspiring fire-knife finale.

General Luau: Aloha shell lei greeting, dinner, open bar & luau show. Tables are pre-assigned by date of booking. Tables are ohana (family) style and can seat more than one family per table (up to 12 guests per table).

VIP Upgrade: Reserved seating area, flower lei for ladies and kukui nut lei for gentlemen, first set of tables to begin dinner service, premium open bar selection. Tables are first four rows closest to the stage and forward facing.

Open bar: Features a great selection of complimentary tropical cocktails, beer, wine and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. $5 per drink for premium alcohol or frozen blended drinks.
