Ka Moana Luau at Aloha Tower

Honolulu - Oahu
Duration: 3 hours
Now taking place at its new location at Aloha Tower in the heart of downtown Honolulu, Ka Moana Luau takes you on a voyage through Polynesia with dances, chants and activities from the different islands of the Pacific.

Ka Moana Luau at Aloha Tower in Honolulu

Ka Moana Luau brings a Polynesian evening to Aloha Tower in downtown Honolulu, where the harbor setting gives the night a different feel from a beach or resort luau. The name Ka Moana means “the ocean,” and the show carries that theme through music, chants, dance and stories from across the Pacific.

Before dinner, you can join hands-on cultural activities such as lei making, hula lessons and headband weaving. The setting is lively without feeling far from the city, which makes this Oahu luau a good match if you are staying in Waikiki, near Ala Moana, downtown Honolulu or close to the cruise ship pier area.

Dinner is catered by Chart House Waikiki and features island-inspired dishes such as poke, lomi lomi salmon, poi, kalua pork, local fish, grilled chicken, fruit, haupia, kulolo and tropical drinks. After dinner, the Polynesian show moves through Hawaii and the wider Pacific with colorful performances, music and stage moments that fit the ocean-voyage theme.

Ka Moana Luau works well if you want a Honolulu luau with cultural activities, dinner, drinks, package upgrades, Aloha Tower atmosphere and optional Waikiki transportation.

Aloha Tower and the Ka Moana Setting

Aloha Tower gives this luau a downtown Honolulu waterfront setting instead of a resort lawn or distant island venue. You are close to the harbor, the city and one of Honolulu’s best-known landmarks.

If you add Waikiki transportation, your confirmation will include your pickup time and location. You can also make your own way to Aloha Tower at 1 Aloha Tower Drive. Check-in begins at 4:45 pm, and the luau runs from 5:30 pm to 7:45 pm.
