Waikiki Starlight Luau | Hilton Hawaiian Village Luau

Waikiki Starlight Luau takes place on the Great Lawn at Hilton Hawaiian Village, next to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon. You stay right in Waikiki for a resort luau evening with live music, buffet dining, cultural activities and a Polynesian show in one of Waikiki’s best-known hotel settings.

The evening begins with a welcome fruit punch and Hawaiian music before dinner. You can join the group hula lesson, enjoy the open-air lawn setting or settle in with a drink before the buffet opens. The show brings together music, chants and dances from Hawaii and greater Polynesia, with a four-person fire-knife dance adding a dramatic finish.

Waikiki Starlight Luau works well if you want a Waikiki luau at Hilton Hawaiian Village with resort dining, lagoon-side atmosphere, Golden Circle or Diamond Premier seating, and a full island-style show without leaving the Waikiki area for the evening.

Friday Night Luau: On Fridays, the evening pairs especially well with Hilton’s fireworks show. After the luau, you can head toward the beachfront to watch the fireworks over Waikiki.

The Great Lawn and Lagoon Setting

The Great Lawn gives this luau an open Waikiki resort feel, with Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon nearby and the activity of Hilton Hawaiian Village around you. It is a very different setting from a remote beach luau or a cultural park on another part of the island.

If you are staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, in Waikiki or near Ala Moana, this luau keeps the evening centered close to your hotel area. Validated self-parking is also available at Hilton Hawaiian Village for up to 4 hours.

Golden Circle and Diamond Premier Seating

Golden Circle Seating: Includes a non-alcoholic Tropical Sunset Fruit Punch plus one beverage, along with the luau buffet and show.

Diamond Premier Seating: Includes premier seating closest to the stage, non-alcoholic Tropical Sunset Fruit Punch plus two beverages, the luau buffet and first access to the feast.

Choose Golden Circle Seating if you want the full Starlight Luau evening. Choose Diamond Premier Seating if you want to sit closest to the stage and have first access to the buffet.

Friday Fireworks and Special Dates

The Friday Night Luau is one of the standout options for Waikiki. After the luau, you can walk toward the beachfront for Hilton’s fireworks show and turn the evening into dinner, entertainment and fireworks in the same resort area.

New Year’s Eve pricing may appear separately when available. Choose your date first so the booking options show the package choices for that specific evening.

Check-In and Parking

From June 1 to October 31, check-in is at 5:30 pm. From November 1 to May 31, check-in is at 5:00 pm. The luau is held on the Hilton Hawaiian Village Great Lawn, next to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon.

Complimentary validated self-parking is available for up to 4 hours at Hilton Hawaiian Village in the Mid-Pacific Conference Center.
